An investment to implement these systems and use them to provide heating and cooling to housing, ecspecially in developing countries.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Learn More about Micro Wind
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

I have never heard of it and it was very surprising how useful it is and how you can use such random things to create energy.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Sinks Research Peatlands

I can stop degrading activities such as agricultural conversion and drainage. I can also Study the emissions by state and report emissions.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Industry Research the Climate Impact of Refrigerants
What did you learn about the climate impact of refrigerants? How do supermarkets contribute to this impact?

    Walter Daniels's avatar
    Walter Daniels 5/02/2024 9:32 AM

I learned that they can contribute a lot to global warming if they fail to be dealt with. It can affect it so much that it is even more than carbon dioxide. Supermarkets do not do much to stop this they just want to sell as many products as they can.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Try Carpooling
List some of the places you frequent often (work, grocery store, natural areas). Could you choose one or two days a week to schedule driving with a friend, neighbor or co-worker to these places?

I usually go to the YMCA after school and I carpool there a lot from school with my friends from school. I also have some people in my neighborhood that I could carpool to school with.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
