    My city is very wind friendly, and I think most taller buildings in town could benefit from turbines.

    Anytime I shop and I have the option to opt out of a printed receipt, I choose to have it emailed. All my bills are paperless as well and are emailed. I'll also be unsubscribing from a magazine that I no longer read.

    Knowing the difference between these different types of dates can help me make better decisions as a consumer. Before learning about the difference in these dates, I assumed they all meant the same thing: how long a food item will be okay to consume before its expiration.     Sustainability is balance. Don’t use more than you need. Give back. Be mindful. Don’t waste.

    Doing a major clean out, and more than half of what is going is being recycled. So far we have donated 51 bags of clothes, close to 25 boxes of unwanted housewares and are enjoying an organized house.

    I'm trying to do a better job of meal planning so that we have less food waste. Just thinking ahead and eating what is in season has helped!

    So far my eco challenge is going pretty well, I’ve only missed 2 days just due to not remembering to check in but I’ve got a reminder set now to make sure I check in :)
