October 9 at 3:06 PMI am enjoying doing the ecochallenge, learning a lot of new things.

October 8 at 2:40 PMEcoChallenge, day 1 for me, going good. I've been making headway in preparing zero waste meals and even came up on some ideas for "stem pesto". I don't know how I feel about eating stems but it's zero waste and blended up nice so it's cool. I also bought like a whole shank from. the butcher and instead of tossing the scraps, I made...

October 8 at 10:54 AMThis was an interesting graphic showing how carbon is captured using seaweed

October 8 at 9:33 AMOn October the 6th, each meal I had throughout the day was meatless. Not entirely vegan, but none of them contained meat products. For breakfast, I had oatmeal again. Lunch, I had a vegan burger i got for a meal exchange from the OSU, and for dinner, I made a cheese pizza. Before this challenge, I would have most likely not considered getting...

October 8 at 9:15 AMOn October the 7th, i once again started my morning to two packets of maple and brown sugar oatmeal, which wasn't nearly as good as the apple and cinnamon but its a meal without meat so I'll take it. I did a lot of skating today as I made four different trips to the campus and back to my apartment all on my skateboard. That was able to take...

October 8 at 8:37 AMThe seafloor is home to many different species and their habitats. Without them, there would be no life in the ocean, ruining the food chain and food for human populations that depend on seafood as their source of protein. The few videos I watched about bottom trawling were so sad; I can't believe this is legal at all.

October 7 at 11:16 PMI like to believe that spending time outside provides one with such peace of mind. You can finally relax therefore you are enhancing your sense of place. When you spend more time outside you begin to develop an appreciation for your surroundings. It can be as easy as talking a walk along nice path or going on a bike ride. You could also not...
