  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Learn More About Geothermal Energy
Geothermal energy is reliable, abundant, and efficient. Project Drawdown states that public investment will play a crucial role in its expansion. In what ways (i.e. with money, time, advocacy) can you invest in geothermal energy?

I mean I think that if many people invested it would be worth it. However I feel that a lot of people don’t know about it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Learn More about Micro Wind
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

    Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis 5/17/2024 5:36 AM
We could have turbines placed on our main buildings, like at the top.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Industry Practice the 5 Rs
What are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?

Removal, I will remove any sort of thing that is wasteful, like I will remove paper towels and start using cloth.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

    Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis's avatar
    Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis 4/25/2024 5:40 AM
In richer countries, animal meat is cheaper to produce. The meat is harder for out body to break down.

What did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?

The most interest fact that I learned about transportation is that responsible for 14% of the green house gas emissions. In big compact city you should try a none gas emissions veicle. There is no need to travel in car unless you need to.
