REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Learn More About Geothermal EnergyGeothermal energy is reliable, abundant, and efficient. Project Drawdown states that public investment will play a crucial role in its expansion. In what ways (i.e. with money, time, advocacy) can you invest in geothermal energy?
Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis 5/22/2024 6:16 AMI mean I think that if many people invested it would be worth it. However I feel that a lot of people don’t know about it. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Learn More about Micro WindMicro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?
Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis 5/17/2024 5:36 AMWe could have turbines placed on our main buildings, like at the top. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Practice the 5 RsWhat are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis 4/26/2024 5:39 AMRemoval, I will remove any sort of thing that is wasteful, like I will remove paper towels and start using cloth. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis 4/25/2024 5:40 AMIn richer countries, animal meat is cheaper to produce. The meat is harder for out body to break down. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Explore Other Transportation SolutionsWhat did you find out? What is the most interesting fact you learned?
Elizabeth Wiegand-Reavis 4/24/2024 5:38 AMThe most interest fact that I learned about transportation is that responsible for 14% of the green house gas emissions. In big compact city you should try a none gas emissions veicle. There is no need to travel in car unless you need to.
