REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings Learn about 'Green Gentrification'Cities and towns need to plan for climate change. How can your city or town make its climate action plans equitable and socially just?

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and Education Research Barriers to Participation and RepresentationWhat are some of the barriers that exist to women's equal participation and/or representation in your community?
Ghinell Salmeron 5/17/2024 8:07 AMWhen women have the chance to work, many men look down at them and underestimate them. Women's wages are usually lower than a male's wage. It all depends on culture too. For me, my grandma didn't work and stayed at home with her kids and took care of them. My grandpa usually went out to work and maintain her. My mom stopped that, she met my dad and they both agreed they would BOTH work and help with the children. My grandma is still in the original culture that she grew up in but my mom wanted something different in her life. Thanks to her, at least my generation has a choice to either work, or stay as a housewife. -
