  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Electricity Spread the Word about Energy Alternatives
What inspiration and wisdom can you gather from your family, faith, or community traditions that would help you in both communicating about and addressing our most pressing energy issues?

The inspiration and wisdom I have gathered from my community, help me communicate better about our environment. I was raised in an environment where everyone tries to be eco-friendly, so it is not unordinary to have someone spread awareness on how to protect out environment.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

    Kiley Lee 6/02/2024 8:26 PM
Throughout my life, I have taken various kinds of transportation, which has affected my attitude toward transportation because I always assume I have a ride to get places. This is not the same for some people, some people don't have the option to have a ride at all times. And our viewpoints can be very different.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

    Kiley Lee's avatar
    Kiley Lee 6/02/2024 8:24 PM
People in richer countries eat more meat because it is more expensive, it affects our planet because you are killing an unnecessary amount of animals meaning they might go extinct and disrupt our ecosystem.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Before today, I did not understand what biomass was. I've heard of biomass before and just never took the time to learn about it. Many things that I learned today surprised me, but the most surprising piece of contact that I got were the results and what it is used for. Biomass is used to generate electricity and heat, many governments are choosing to use this in the future, ect. These are all things that I learned and found surprising.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
