Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal Products

Richer countries have the ability to buy meat with their money. Comparing to poorer countries that may not have enough to buy meat and the other ingredients to make a healthy meal. Poor countries rely on fast food chains to produce meals for them. Eating mostly meat adds lots of protein into our bodies but also kills many animals on the planet.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Eating without distractions allowed me to actually enjoy the food that I was eating. Normally I'd be scrolling through social media on my phone or watching a movie that was recently added to Netflix but I forced myself to enjoy a meal without technology and had an open conversation with my mom about the food that we were enjoying.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I learned that refrigerants are a cause of the ozone being torn apart. Refrigerant substitutes also aren’t the most beneficial and actually add to the greenhouse gas effect.
