REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Spread the Word about Energy AlternativesWhat inspiration and wisdom can you gather from your family, faith, or community traditions that would help you in both communicating about and addressing our most pressing energy issues?
Samuel Crow 5/02/2024 10:00 AMArticles I've read and the news story have helped me get a better idea of how we need to find a better way to make energy like through wind. I've talked to my family members about this and they said that we need to start turning off the extra light to not use as much energy. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildings Plan to InsulateWhat are some of the benefits of making your home more energy efficient?
Samuel Crow 5/01/2024 12:14 PMIf your house is more energy efficient you won't be putting an insane amount of carbon emissions and your power bill would be less and your home would be overall more sustainable. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Research the Climate Impact of RefrigerantsWhat did you learn about the climate impact of refrigerants? How do supermarkets contribute to this impact?
Samuel Crow 4/30/2024 12:09 PMTo cool something you have to use refrigerants which can cause a lot of carbon emissions which is not good which is why they had the Montreal Protocol and supermarkets contribute to this because they are always cooling stuff like icecream meat ect which is bad for the enviorment and we need to find a better way. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Forest-Friendly Foods 2How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?
Samuel Crow 4/29/2024 9:01 AMIt was somewhat difficult because I like to drink coffee sometimes in the morning to wake me up. But this challenge helped me to drink a lot more water than I normally do so in conclusion I can live without coffee for days, -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Samuel Crow 4/25/2024 9:45 AMIt lets you know what food is on its way out and if you buy something that's close to its due date make sure to eat it before your other stuff in your fridge. And make sure to look at dates when you buy stuff so you know how long you have to eat that product.
