REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Myke Garcia 4/20/2024 6:12 AMI became a vegetarian in 2003. I was very young, and thought I knew everything. Turns out I didn't. 20 years later I found interesting ways to cook, sampled cuisine from almost every culture, and love vegetables. I love being a vegetarian, but its expensive! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Tend A GardenHave you ever had a significant experience in nature that altered your perspective or focus? If so, please describe it.
Myke Garcia 4/19/2024 6:03 AMI love seeing nature in my backyard. I have so many allergic reactions to plants, pollens, and insect stings that enjoying the outdoors always comes with a consequence on my skin. I love being able to just watch and enjoy the buzzing bees, fluttering butterflies and bird swoop into the yard. -
