There’s no single “least eco-friendly” country — environmental impact depends on many factors like emissions, waste, energy use, and conservation policies. 🌍

What matters most is that every country — and every person — can take steps to reduce their footprint and protect the planet.

If you're sending a lot of packages, there is a great eco-version of package fillers - they are made out of potato starch. I love them as they don't create any waste - you can put them in the kitchen sink and they will just melt with water and disappear. Magic!

What recipe did you make and how did it turn out? Will you cook with seaweed again?

🚲 What if bike parking took up almost no space in the city?

In Tokyo, cyclists can use automated underground bike silos called Eco Cycle. You leave your bike in a small street-level kiosk and a robotic system stores it safely around 12 meters underground. Retrieval takes only about 13 seconds.

These systems help reduce clutter on sidewalks, protect bikes from theft and weather, and make dense cities more people-friendly without building huge parking areas above ground. One underground tower can store around 200 bicycles.

Smart urban design is also part of sustainability. Sometimes innovation is not about creating more space, but using the space we already have better. 🌍🚲

Did you know that polyester clothes are not only a problem when they end up in a land field but a lot earlier? Every time they are washed, they release microplastics into the water. Natural materials are the way to go!

I did not know... it is scary considering the amount of polyester clothing in stores these days.

Did you know that producing just one beef burger uses as much water as showering for two full months! Switching to a plant-based meal just once a week can significantly reduce your carbon footprint and save precious water resources.

A simple way to reduce everyday chemicals is to swap some conventional cleaning products for natural, homemade alternatives 🧼✨ Ingredients like vinegar, baking soda, lemon, and water can be used for many basic cleaning tasks, helping reduce packaging waste and exposure to harsh substances. Small changes in our cleaning routines can make a meaningful difference for both our homes and the environment 🌍💚

Earth Day in Poland is a great reminder that caring for the planet starts with action. 🌍
Across the country, organized groups come together to clean up parks, forests, and neighborhoods by collecting litter. It’s a simple but powerful way to support nature and build environmental awareness.

Maybe it’s worth thinking about this from time to time and picking up a piece of paper lying on the ground, even outside of this special day :)
