The GWP of refrigerants commonly in use is about 2500-3500! EU is slashing especially at supermarkets, who have to reduce to refeigerants pf under 159GWP and seem to be going to CO2. Others will have to change to refrigerants of under 2700, which is still a lot.

I cooked freshwater fish pasta, the fish was from a tin of mixed freshwater fish of very abundant and not very highly regarded species here, from a small producer. The pasta was divine! Easy to make too. https://www.k-ruoka.fi/reseptit/luonnonkalapasta

Just found a merino-bamboo mixed fabric summer dress. Should be more durable than mere merino, but still warm and breathable.

I didn’t actually find out yet where the closest climate-friendly supermarket is. The map didn’t help; it doesn’t show any for us. A little googling shows that in 2020 already 40% of the S-supermarkets had climate friendly (non-HFC) refrigerants and 25% of the K-supermarkets. I’ll have to investigate the nearby stores. Forests as a carbon sequestration resource is such a flat and utilitarian way of thinking about them. They support so many different ecosystem services, so many different species, so many priceless trophic chains.

It's easy to find and choose palm oil free margarin in stores, but giving up / replacing coffee and chocolate is hard. Maybe tea instead?

Instead of waste, I'd rather spend this on my garden renovation, summer vacation or hobbies.
