When I was actively practicing mindfulness, I found myself become more aware of my senses and my body. Normally, I like to watch Youtube or Netflix while I eat, which made be become numb to the signals of my body that I was full, but mindful eating prevents that from happening. This practice was both beneficial for myself and for the earth as I was reducing food waste by portioning better and eating just the right amount!
