Connecticut Science Center
The Sustainability Working Group (SWG) is committed to inspiring and educating staff and visitors on environmental consciousness, appreciation, innovation, and sustainability to improve the ecological health of our community through individual, collective and institutional action. The SWG reviews best practices in environmental sustainability and education that are relevant to the Connecticut Science Center’s mission, objectives, and capabilities. The SWG reviews the Center’s sustainability-related performance and activities and contributes to recommendations and plans to improve the Science Center’s environmental stewardship and sustainability. The SWG also researches best practices and opportunities for the development of programming and exhibitions concerning sustainability education.
