REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Calculate My Household Carbon FootprintAfter you determined your carbon footprint, did you see what different choices you can make in order to reduce it?
Jason Zeng 10/27/2024 11:41 PMI was shocked by how much carbon footprint my diets contributed. In order to improve that, I'm choosing locally grown and supplied food over than packaged goods that's being transported to where I live. Moreover, I will try to add one or two vegetarian meal every month. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and Education Watch Drawdown's Climate Solutions 101 SeriesWhat was an inspiring thing you learned in Drawdown's Climate Solutions 101 Series?
Jason Zeng 10/19/2024 5:20 PMI watched Unit 1 video which drew relation between climate change and human activities. The ever high records of energy use, water and land use has forever changed our life but also changed the atmosphere of our planet. While our life is getting more convenient, we are also paying the price of damaging our planet. Yet, it may seem grim but the situation is indeed changeable and hopeful. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Learn About AquacultureWhat was the most interesting thing to learn about sustainable aquaculture practices?
Jason Zeng 10/04/2024 11:58 PMBy transitioning into a hybrid aqua food production system, we can reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions without reducing any amount of consumption, or even boost the supplies of fishery captures by 2050. -
Jason Zeng 10/03/2024 11:59 PMSolid, looking forward for more challenges. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Green My JobWhat actions will you take to green your job?
Jason Zeng 10/03/2024 11:58 PMAs a sales kid who works in a skate shop within the capitalist society, my word really wouldn't mean that much to managements. However, I can try to analyze how finding clothing lines that are consisted of recycled materials and put them out in the faceout might attract more customer to come browsing. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONCoastal, Ocean, and Engineered Sinks Cook With SeaweedWhat recipe did you make and how did it turn out? Will you cook with seaweed again?
Jason Zeng 10/03/2024 11:54 PMI made seaweed soup with pork, carrots and other ingredients. It was pretty good, I will try it again in the future.
