    What are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?

    Some things I could add to my daily practice is repurposing items. I am pretty good about reusing, reducing, and recycling as these ideas have been implemented in my head from a young age. When it comes to repurposing items I need to become creative and think outside of the box.

    This challenge is going by pretty good. It makes me think before I act on something stupid. It literally is as simple as looking up what numbers of plastic you can recycle.

    This is definitely the hardest challenge for me to accomplish because technology is such an addictive tendency. When I am eating in silence it's like I don't know what to do. This has helped me to go outside and eat and just appreciate the environment.

    For lunch I had a chipotle bowl which did not contain plastic materials. As well, I made sure that my full portion was eaten to reduce compost waste.

    Although I try my best to finish all of my food portions there are those instances where I am too full to finish. Instead of just throwing this perfectly good food away I will instead offer it to friends and 9/10 times it will be consumed by someone else. This reduces the food waste while also benefiting someone else.

    Instead of just going to Starbucks and getting a plastic cup, I brought in my reusable one to reduce the amount of plastic I am putting into the world. This is an example of reducing plastic and repurposing/reusing other cups.

    Instead of eating a meal while watching television or on my phone, I ate with a group of friends and was instead present in the moment. This really helped me stay in the moment and appreciate people instead of a screen. I will continue doing this activity even after the ecochallenge.
