Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food, Agriculture, and Land Use

    Elliette Todd 4/29/2025 6:07 PM
Eating fruits and vegetables positively affects me and others because they are healthy and they cut down on the killing of animals.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

    Elliette Todd's avatar
    Elliette Todd 4/29/2025 5:45 PM
Some benefits are less food waste and spending less money on grocery's.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Electricity
Micro turbines can be placed on large structures to take advantage of stronger, steadier breezes. The Eiffel Tower now sports vertical axis turbines that produce electricity for use on site. Where could micro turbines potentially be installed in your city?

I had never heard of biomass technology before. I learned that biomass helps create energy naturally. What surprised me is how I've never heard of it before and why people aren't using it more.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Electricity
Geothermal energy is reliable, abundant, and efficient. Project Drawdown states that public investment will play a crucial role in its expansion. In what ways (i.e. with money, time, advocacy) can you invest in geothermal energy?

    Elliette Todd 4/23/2025 6:16 AM
I think that it will play a crucial part in money because it lowers the amount of energy used to heat/cool so your bill isn't as high.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Sinks
Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

    Elliette Todd's avatar
    Elliette Todd 4/02/2025 6:12 AM
No I haven't. I think the biggest advantage is helping the cows so they can produce the most products.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

This has an impact on my actions by making me wonder what the future will be. How bad it could get. I feel hope because I have hope in my friends and family.
