REFLECTION QUESTIONElectricity Learn More About Geothermal EnergyGeothermal energy is reliable, abundant, and efficient. Project Drawdown states that public investment will play a crucial role in its expansion. In what ways (i.e. with money, time, advocacy) can you invest in geothermal energy?
Jared Sweitzer(902) 10/21/2024 8:04 AMWell building houses is key in this because as new houses are build changing to using Geothermal overtime will increase the availability of it. I think also informing the general public on what it is because many people have no idea geothermal is such a great product. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand Sinks Forest-Friendly Foods 2How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?
Jared Sweitzer(902) 10/09/2024 7:46 AMIt was fairly easy to change my diet as I removed coffee from my morning and will continue to. It helps to benefit me because coffee is a source of caffeine and removing that from my diet may help me be healthier. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Learn the Truth About Expiration DatesHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Jared Sweitzer(902) 10/09/2024 4:05 AMIt allows you to pick between stuff that might help reduce waste. Like milk for exmaple knowing how much your household uses and the sell by date on it allows you to buy the right amount. So then you aren't throwing out extra past the sell by date if you don't use it all. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Go for a Daily WalkWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?
Jared Sweitzer(902) 10/08/2024 9:06 AMWhen walking around my town I noticed a lack of care for the sidewalks. It was difficult for me to walk in certains at some points because I needed to go on the street to cross town. I enjoyed the accessibility my town has as their is enough infrastructure to be able to get to both sides. I would change the sidewalk system and some stop signs ans cross walks to make it more walking friendly.
