  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land Sinks Forest-Friendly Foods 2
How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?

Not very hard since I don't typically consume these foods. But I do like chocolate so not consuming cocoa makes me pay attention to what sweets I am eating.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Smaller Portions
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

Maintaining a healthier diet and not giving into overconsumption.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I notice that I take time to actually enjoy the food I am eating because I am not distracted by the things going on around me.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

You can reuse old plastic containers from the grocery store. I made a large pot of soup and stored it in reusable containers of cottage cheese, veggie dip, etc.
