REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustry Practice the 5 RsWhat are some more "Rs" you could add to your daily practice to reduce your waste?
Brianna Navarro 3/11/2024 6:05 PMI am trying my best not to purchase things that are individually wrapped, but overall this is challenging considering that everything is wrapped in plastic just do your best to recycle every chance you get such as aluminum, plastic and so much more because it's out there! -
Brianna Navarro 3/11/2024 5:47 PMTo incorporate today's eco-challenge I recalled I have bamboo utensils back at home I redeemed at the Vans store when the company would give you cool unique vans gadgets and its a pouch of utensils made of bamboo (I leave mine in my car) such as straw, fork, chopsticks, spoon, and knife! great for the ecosystem!-
Suzanne Worcester 3/20/2024 4:51 PMGreat way to keep from using plastic utensils- awesome!

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land Use Tend A GardenHave you ever had a significant experience in nature that altered your perspective or focus? If so, please describe it.
Brianna Navarro 3/07/2024 1:18 PMAt a nonprofit, where I am currently employed I've incorporated connecting with nature by caring for a garden every Friday. That has a calming effect on the minds and bodies of students. Spending time outside in nature, such as in gardens, can reduce stress levels, lower blood pressure, and promote relaxation. This can lead to a clearer mind and a more focused outlook on life.

REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Use Muscle PowerHow do your transportation choices affect your engagement in your community? Does your experience or enjoyment differ while walking, riding transit, biking or driving?
Brianna Navarro 3/07/2024 11:52 AMWalking allows for direct interaction with your surroundings and fellow CSUMB students. Notice more details about the campus itself. Walking provides spontaneous interactions and conversations with fellow students you see around and getting a sense of belonging and social cohesion.
