I believe that people in richer countries eat more meat, and have a more diverse diet, because of economic, cultural, and regional factors. Eating red meats may increase an individual's chances of developing heart disease, and other diseases, due to high amounts of saturated fat. Additionally, beef emitting more methane and carbon dioxide in production when compared to white meats.
