Anna Kluzik 5/07/2026 12:22 AMHave you know that buying locally and seasonally is also a very simple micro eco habit? Choosing Polish fruits and vegetables at markets reduces the carbon footprint of transportation.

Anna Kluzik 5/06/2026 12:07 AMOne micro eco habit: DIY-ing old jars into something useful. Use it for leftovers, snacks, or desk storage instead of plastic.-

Katarzyna Wajda 5/06/2026 12:42 AMYes, yes, yes !! I usually collect and give them to my mum so she can use it for homemade jam etc

Anna Kluzik 5/05/2026 12:32 AMUsing reusable shopping bags is an easy, practical way to reduce plastic waste and support a healthier planet. They help cut down on single-use plastics, conserve resources, and make everyday shopping more sustainable. Keeping a few bags in your car, purse, or backpack makes it simple to build a lasting eco-friendly habit.-
Justyna Miziolek 5/05/2026 5:21 AMYes, and it's good to have at least 2 or 3 so you don't always have to remember about them, they just ARE in the right places :) -
Kamila Karbowy 5/05/2026 1:30 AMI agree, and I do the same — I always use reusable shopping bags because they’re a simple way to reduce plastic waste and make shopping more eco-friendly. -

Anna Kluzik 5/04/2026 12:10 AMChoose one meat-free meal each week. Even a small shift can lower your environmental footprint. Try a simple plant-based lunch or dinner you already enjoy, like beans, lentils, tofu, or vegetables. Consistency matters more than perfection, so start small and build the habit!-

Ola Kaleta 5/04/2026 11:57 PMMeatless meals can be even better than meat-based ones. You do not need special ingredients; everyone probably has some in their fridge that can make a tasty, nutritious meal. For example, from a biological perspective, eggs can not only replace animal proteins in the diet, but even surpass them. However, it is worth choosing organic ones to ensure that your meal is not only meat-free but also cruelty-free :) -

Anna Kluzik 5/01/2026 12:02 AMHave you already bought a reusable water bottle? If not, it’s a great idea. It reduces daily waste, protects the environment, and saves money too.-

Anna Kluzik 4/30/2026 1:07 AMOne ecological habit to practice every day is separating recyclable waste from regular trash. Recycling paper, plastic, glass, and metal helps reduce landfill waste and saves natural resources. It is so simple daily action, but with big impact: it supports cleaner environment and encourages responsible consumption.-

Danielle Werrell 4/30/2026 5:51 PMWe have our household recycle bins and they are used every day. The kids (and husband) have had a mis-step here or there, but I have quickly reminded them. -

Anna Kluzik 4/27/2026 11:49 PMWhat's the easiest way to be eco? Let's limit your shopping.
1/ Buy only what you need and make a shopping list. This helps you avoid unnecessary purchases and save money. 2/ Choose reusable and durable products that last longer.
3/ Repair, reuse, and swap before buying something new.-
Justyna Miziolek 4/29/2026 1:16 AM -
Katarzyna Wajda 4/28/2026 12:31 AM -
Kamila Karbowy 4/28/2026 12:27 AMYes! And simple eco-friendly approach is to shop less and shop smarter: buy only what you need, make a list, choose reusable durable items, and try repairing, reusing, or swapping before replacing things.
-
-
Anna Kluzik 4/27/2026 1:16 AMAny idea how to create less waste? I will start with 3R method:- Reduce: avoid buying things I don’t need
- Reuse: keep using items as long as possible, repair them
- Recycle: When something can’t be reused, please sort it properly so the materials can be used again.
-
Katarzyna Wajda 4/27/2026 2:18 AMGreat ideas Ania ! I didn't know this 3R method.. I've found also :
Refuse: Decline items you do not need, such as single-use plastics, flyers, or freebies, to stop waste before it enters your home.
Rot (Compost): Convert organic waste, such as food scraps and yard trimmings, into compost (nutrient-rich soil) rather than sending it to a landfill.
-
Anna Kluzik 4/24/2026 2:53 AMHow to reduce food waste? Any creative ideas? Let me start... ;)- Plan your meals for the week and buy only what you need.
- Store food properly and use leftovers before they spoil.
- Freeze extra food.
- Check expiration dates regularly and use older items first.
- Serve smaller portions so less food is thrown away.
-

Sabhayta Agarwal 4/24/2026 10:17 AMI would meal prep for 3 days straight with the produce that I have, and will only buy when required :). Less buying, less waste :) And saves money too. -
Danielle Werrell 4/24/2026 9:05 AM-more small visits to grocery store instead of one big one.
-have a leftover dinner night, clean out the leftovers that have accumulated.
-make fruit salad out of 'older' not so pretty fruit
-
Kamila Karbowy 4/24/2026 3:28 AMGreat start — I’d add:- Get creative with leftovers by turning them into soups, stir-fries, or wraps.
- Keep a “use first” shelf in your fridge for food that needs to be eaten soon.
- Compost food scraps that can’t be eaten.
- Share extra food with neighbors, friends, or food banks.
- Use apps or reminders to track what you already have at home.
Small habits can make a big difference. -
