Today I made coffee and took it with me to run my errands in my reusable cup. Also on Friday, I made sandwhiches that were just perfectly portioned to take the the beach! I made sure to pick up all my trash and not leave anything behind or waste food

Cups, cups and cups. It is sometimes hard to remember to bring a waterbottle or reusable cup, but I am trying to get into the habit again so I don't use plastic cups and straws every time
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food, Agriculture, and Land Use
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

Losing weight, leftovers if you want to enjoy it again later, not feeling uncomfortable or tired after eating!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

An average American throws out about 240 lbs of food per year. The average family of four spends $1,500 a year on food that they throw out. Where would you rather use this money?

I would rather save it for paying bills and saving it for necessities that will be used to their fullest

I get to take my cute tumblers, and they fill them with coffee at either Starbucks or the library cafe rather than using the plastic cups!
