REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhat did you learn from visiting or researching a dairy farm?
Olivia Gonzalez 3/21/2025 3:06 PMThe main takeaway I have got from researching cattle farming is that it is extremely unsustainable. The resources needed for the cows includes a lot of land, food, and water. Then the production and shipping has even more carbon emissions. Looking into this issue and learning about the impact it has on the environment has made me want to avoid purchasing red meat. I have only been consuming chicken and fish as proteins. I used to almost weekly purchase ground beef but I have had no issue supplementing that for chicken or a fish. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhat did you cook and how did it turn out? Can you share a recipe on the feed for others to try?
Olivia Gonzalez 3/08/2025 12:14 PMI used a new brand of can tuna. It was more expensive but I really liked it. I mixed it with greek yogurt and had it with a side of pickles and carrots. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportationWhat have you noticed on your daily walks? What have you enjoyed? What infrastructure changes could make your walks more enjoyable or possible?

REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
Olivia Gonzalez 3/08/2025 12:11 PMToday I went to the coffee shop and got a reusable cup instead of plastic.
