There’s no single “least eco-friendly” country — environmental impact depends on many factors like emissions, waste, energy use, and conservation policies. 🌍

What matters most is that every country — and every person — can take steps to reduce their footprint and protect the planet.

Earth Day in Poland is a great reminder that caring for the planet starts with action. 🌍
Across the country, organized groups come together to clean up parks, forests, and neighborhoods by collecting litter. It’s a simple but powerful way to support nature and build environmental awareness.

Maybe it’s worth thinking about this from time to time and picking up a piece of paper lying on the ground, even outside of this special day :)

Choosing less plastic matters — even in our clothes. 👕🌍
Many synthetic fabrics are made from plastic, so choosing garments with better, more natural materials can be a simple way to reduce our environmental impact.
A huge amount of clothing ends up in landfills and elsewhere—it’s also worth buying less.

Sometimes buying less really means getting more. A single well-made piece from natural materials can last for years, stay comfortable longer, and keep its shape far better than several cheaper alternatives.

Mindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How does your eating experience differ when practicing mindfulness?

It's not only about being mindful, also about being healthy. Slowly eating, better digestion etc :)

It's worth to remember: mixed waste should be the last resort.
When we separate recyclables, food scraps, and hazardous items properly, less waste ends up in the wrong bin.

Better sorting at home means a cleaner future for everyone ♻️

Recycling works best when we sort waste correctly. ♻️

A clean bottle, paper, or can has a much better chance of being recycled than one mixed with food or other trash.

Every year, the Tree of the Year contest kicks off at the beginning of the year. It is worth noting that a Polish tree named “Heart of the Dalkowskie Hills” won in 2025. This year Poland was on third place.
It’s worth taking a closer look at this initiative: https://www.treeoftheyear.org/vote

Did you know that trees can communicate underground through fungal networks often called the “wood wide web”? 🌳🍄

These hidden connections help trees share nutrients and support each other — a fascinating reminder that nature is deeply interconnected.

Don’t forget to get your bikes ready for the new season! Take advantage of the special bike racks near the office and ride your bike instead of driving or even taking public transportation. An added bonus is building up your stamina and strengthening your muscles :)
