REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseHow does knowing the difference between use by, sell by, and best by dates empower you to make better decisions?
Nicolas Busilacchi 3/10/2025 10:26 AMKnowing the difference between "use by," "sell by," and "best by" dates empowers me to make smarter choices about my food. The "use by" date helps me prioritize safety, ensuring I consume items before they go bad. The "sell by" date gives me insight into freshness, allowing me to buy products that are still good even if they’re past that date. Lastly, the "best by" date indicates when the food is at its peak quality, but I know I can still safely enjoy it afterward. This understanding helps me manage my groceries better, reduce waste, and feel more confident about what I'm eating, ultimately leading to a more sustainable lifestyle.
