Volkswagen Jetta's Eco Mode

I commute far from King City, so a bike is not an option for me. My Volkswagen Jetta's Eco Mode prioritizes fuel efficiency by reducing throttle response, adjusting transmission shift points to earlier gears, and potentially limiting climate control to conserve fuel. I will activate this mode on my commute to school and back home on Tuesdays and Thursdays. As well as anytime i travel more than 20 mins. On the days I dont have school.

    first thing when i woke up i walked around the block before the sunrise for an hour and it was very cold today

    today is trash day in my town and i made sure that my parents properly rinse off any recycling and educated them on how to properly recycle based off what i have learn so far

    I have noticed that I have been slowing down on my walks, looking around alot more! I have enjoyed the peace it brings. I am gonna start to collect cool things on my walks like rocks and now the falling leaves!

    Makeup! I reused a mascara wand and have been using it as a mini brush to gel back my baby hairs! I love it! I feel funny using an old mascara wand on my hair, but it does better than other combs I've used before.

    I feel like I have been chewing my food better and even recognizing more flavors. I feel full faster in a way as well.

    I miss driving a little faster BUT its safer to drive slow with the eco mode on my car. (Eco mode doesnt allow me to speed as fast)

    spent the week since I started this challenge focusing on slowing down in life, not only by mindfully eating and slowly driving but also enjoying the nature around me on my walks, which has been my favorite part of this challenge so far.
