REFLECTION QUESTIONIndustryWhat are some attributes of an offset that you should consider before purchasing them?
Osha Arthur 4/09/2025 9:19 AMTrying to tell how many emissions you have is hard, so greenwashing happens, the praactice of lying about carbon emissions on a brand name. Also make sure you are really prepared for what a carbon offset means. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth and EducationWhat did you learn about the need for family planning? How do the needs of different people in different places compare to each other?

Osha Arthur 4/08/2025 9:27 AMI feel like jobs in my community might like a man to apply for a job than a woman. I also think that thepay they would give would be less to a woman not based on her actual work. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONBuildingsCities and towns need to plan for climate change. How can your city or town make its climate action plans equitable and socially just?
Osha Arthur 4/04/2025 10:01 AMI think that instead of taking peoples houses and imposing on their property, we should come together as a community and fix climate change. At first, it might cost money, but daily actions are necessary when challenging a big problem. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONLand SinksMuch of Indonesia's peatlands have been drained so they could be replaced with palm oil or pulp and paper plantations. How can you make choices that help to protect peatlands, even if you live far away from one?
Osha Arthur 4/03/2025 9:43 AMYou can support them online with posts or donations. You could also protest or set up events about saving peatlands. Another easy way is to let family and friends know about it to increase peoples knowledge on the topic. -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood, Agriculture, and Land UseWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?
Osha Arthur 3/17/2025 10:07 AMRich countries eat more meat than people in other countries because they have enough money to raise meat. It takes a lot of money to raise meat, especially in highly populated areas. Eating meat gives us a good source of protein, but the over production of meat products leads to increased emission and can harm enviorments.
