WVC Green Team

I did this by planning for WVC Earth Day event which will include calculating carbon storage of the trees on campus.

I learned more about biochar and how it is made. There will be a panel at the Museum speaking about biochar next month which is why I thought this action was important.

No progress on the actions that I signed up for but I am proud of myself for walking to work with heavy bags of inventory because I am committed to offsetting my daily drives to Wenatchee from Leavenworth in an Explorer. I desperately need to start taking the bus and invest in an electric vehicle.

I was surprised to find out that refrigerants can be 10,000 times more warming than carbon dioxide.

I signed my household up for the Community Compost Program by WasteLoop! I am so excited!

Energy, water, land, and fertilizer waste motivate me to change my behavior regarding food waste.
