    The carbon footprint calculator I used was not very helpful with regards to helping me make different choices, as it only covered a very small handful of factors I'm already aware of. I was hoping it might be much more detailed. Still, as a tool for calculating carbon offsets it worked well enough.

    In the interest of trying to escape palm oil and its derivatives, I've been on a hunt for milk that doesn't include it. So far no luck, including with multiple brands of organic milk. So I've been looking into oat milk as an alternative for some things since I've enjoyed it off and on. I have it at home now to try and this should cut cow milk...

    My neighborhood is fairly walkable, though it could use a few more sidewalks (some of the sidewalks end at random places, shunting pedestrians from the sidewalk into the street or into a yard), bike lanes so bikers can safely ride in the street and not endanger pedestrians, more street lights so it is safe to walk without a flashlight at night...
