Today I ate my lunch and dinner with no distractions, I sat outside and just focused on eating mindfully. I actually found that today and the past days that I have eaten mindfully that I eat less and more slowly. I expected this to be the outcome, but I am actually allowing myself to feel full and then stop eating once I am full.

Today, while at home for a break, I took the opportunity to walk through the Arboretum at Murray State. Similar to UT Garden's, it is a very peaceful walk through nature. I found out that even though I as an individual have taken steps to reduce my carbon footprint, we're still fairly significantly over the national average. I think I'll use this to have...

My meatless challenge is also going well. It's not as exciting as my recycling one because I really haven't changed that much in my diet. I am in no way vegetarian or vegan, but my sister is vegetarian and my boyfriend is allergic to eggs and other things so I just end up around a lot of meatless/vegan options. I live off of bread and pasta...

This post is referring to my recycling challenge. I've been doing it for almost 2 weeks now, even though I've only checked in 6 times (oops). I've been recycling plastic bottles my boyfriend and family have been using. I've also been researching ecobricks and I saved one of our recyclable bottles to try to make one. I cut up several plastic...
