    I've thought about getting an electric vehicle for several years, but there are some serious drawbacks. First is the limited range, though that has improved dramatically over the years. A 300 mile range would be fine for around town but it wouldn't get me to the cabin in Minnesota--or at least not on the same day. Plus, until charging stations...
