    I enjoyed learning about the experiences different cities have had with car-free zones, enhancing pedestrian spaces, and also how public transportation can be used in rural areas.

    The fact that your saving anywhere from 25% to 60% of the energy you use to keep your house at an optimal temperature. I thought it was interesting that it could more than have the amount of energy you use to control the temperature inside your house.

    When we are walking, we see everything and so much greater detail. We have the opportunity to interact with people. Lately, we have been painting little mandala rocks and have been hiding them around our local park like an Easter egg hunt. It is so fun, and my friend just sent me a picture of one that she found!

    Doing great, Earthworms!  BTW, EcoUU (our collective team) is 8th out of 202 national groups, in terms of points, with over 8,200.  SUNY Brockport is 4th with almost 10,000 points.  Anyone want to try to pull ahead of our neighbors to the north west?  Reading articles or watching a few informational videos is a nice activity on a rainy Sunday! ...
