    Welcome Carol!  Three more vegetarian meals for me today, plus working in our garden and sharing our surplus arugula and lettuce with neighbors.

    Today I ate 3 vegetarian meals, and took a hike (where I saw many birds, including a Bullock's oriole, flowers, bees and butterflies).

    Richer countries consume more meat than others because they can - the problem is that they consume more than their fair share.  In addition, the industrialization of the cattle business increases the release of carbon to the atmosphere.  According to Drawdown, a 2016 study suggested emissions could be reduced by 63% by adopting a vegetarian diet.
