Adjust day-to-day behaviors: Energy conservation can be as simple as turning off lights or appliances when you do not need them. We can also use energy-intensive appliances less by performing household tasks manually, such as hang-drying your clothes instead of putting them in the dryer, or washing dishes by hand

Who does not love Bambo? Bambo is such a fast growing plant that does not need any fertilizers and it self-generates from its own roots. Here in Florida many use Bambo instead of building a fence and I adore it.

Coming from Europe, recycling was always part of my lifestyle, something you did not think about twice. When I moved to the United States, the recycling initiatives weren't as advanced as in Europe. It is so imperial to recycle as it saves energy and reduces greenhouse gas emissions, which helps to tackle climate change.

Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Composting
Producing food that goes uneaten squanders many resources—seeds, water, energy, land, fertilizer, hours of labor, financial capital. Which of these kinds of waste most motivates you to change your behavior regarding food waste? Why?

I am a big advocate of composting ever since I lived in Hawaii. It not only enriches soil, and retains moisture but also reduces the need for chemical fertilizers.
