    Did just appetizers again today for lunch. Feels good to cut down on huge portions, and it's really easy to order meat-free when you're looking at appetizers. My girlfriend likes that we're cutting back on calories, and it doesn't hurt to save a little money as well.

    Gotten to the point lately where I pretty much nail the exact amount I'll actually end up wanting so nothing goes to waste. Also ordering less when out, though I am pretty good about not tossing out food anyway

    Been using a mason jar for tea out, skipping straws, bringing my own metal utensils, and keeping my cloth bags in my car for anything I end up needing to carry to avoid plastic bags.

    Been doing great on avoiding plastic!  I definitely need to continue to work on avoiding it, but I feel like its only up from here!

    I live in an area of Beaverton surround by three named mountains, which include Bull Mountain, Cooper Mountain, and Sexton Mountain. All three have many homes where micro turbines could be installed to take advantage of the heightened wind intensity in the higher elevations.     That was interesting. I wasn't very adventurous with my vegetarian choices, but I do felt like it forced me to eat healthier and local food.
