October 30 at 6:41 PMI try to do research in short spurts. If I spend too much time, I get overwhelmed. But with refrigerants, these things are important to know. We trust places are disposing of hazardous materials properly, but with so much created daily, that is not possible. So I try to do my best to be a good eco-friendly human.
-
October 30 at 6:33 PMI have the Seafood Watch app on my phone, but I ended up skipping seafood, except for salmon (once) this month. I only add bay seasoning, so pretty basic.
-
October 29 at 8:20 AMYou could make a petition and get lots of people to sign it to reduce the use of HFC refrigerants.

-
October 29 at 8:17 AMI had heard of biomass before this challenge, but what I learned that surprised me is that biomass still releases carbon dioxide into the atmosphere, although less than other energy sources.
-
October 29 at 8:15 AMThe impact it has on our thinking and actions is that we have to be more mindful of the decisions we make, because even taking a plane out of convenience can negatively impact the environment, but the good part is that people and organizations are trying to be more environmentally friendly.
-
October 29 at 8:14 AMYou can advocate for geothermal energy by doing research about it then spreading the word about this renewable energy resource; also you could invest in stocks for companies that make geothermal energy.
-
October 29 at 8:12 AMThey could be installed on tall buildings or even on people's houses, if it is in the middle of a busy area.
-
October 29 at 8:11 AMI learned a lot about it for example how it works, the types of energy it uses, and the advantages and disadvantages. They are more renewable than other energy sources and they are also tested and reliable.
