Operating in harsh marine environments is hard, tidal  energy is better established than wave,  more wave-energy technologies are being tested more today, and it accounts for a good fraction of all the energy generated globally.

How difficult or easy was it to change your diet?

Very easy! I use olive oil, usually vegan options for chocolate/cocoa products, and changed from coffee to energy drinks (not as good for me but I do love my Monster)
These are things that I think everyone could change very easily unless of course coffee is your go to then it could be a little bit of a challenge, but all worth it in the grand scheme of things.

Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Zero-waste Cooking
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for utilizing every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable, including the skins, tops, and stalks during your next meal prep?

Mindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How does your eating experience differ when practicing mindfulness?

I go outside and eat sometimes, its so peaceful and I am able to really take in the environment around me. I talk with family and eat slower which is a good thing and can experience the meal more instead of just watching some stuff and scarfing it down lol :) would recommend chilling outside or being with family with no distractions!

Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

People in richer countries obviously have more resources than others that don't live in the richer countries. Eating more meat effects your protein levels, kills our animals, and takes money or gives money to other people.
