October 17 at 5:14 PMChecked the map of grocery stores not using HFCs (HydroFluoroCarbons - a very potent greenhouse gas) in Houston, and only found one- the Whole Foods in North Heights. Disappointing, to say the least.

October 3 at 5:19 PMGot Chinese take-out today. Made me realize how much plastic waste is generated when I don't eat meals prepared at home. Better planning would help.

October 2 at 5:18 PMI take a medication that comes in a plastic container that is not recyclable curbside. I can't eliminate it, but I can now recycle it at the North Main Depository in Houston, because they now take all forms of plastic.
