    I was disappointed to find out that Seafood Watch's app is no longer supported. We used to have it on our phones. I did download their guide for my region, however, and you can always to to their website: seafoodwatch.org for information.

    Checked the map of grocery stores not using HFCs (HydroFluoroCarbons - a very potent greenhouse gas) in Houston, and only found one- the Whole Foods in North Heights. Disappointing, to say the least.

    Got to run today for the first time in a long time. It felt so good to be running in the park in the morning!

    Keeping a plastic diary makes me realize how pervasive plastics are. Not a single day goes by without some form of plastic.

    Got Chinese take-out today. Made me realize how much plastic waste is generated when I don't eat meals prepared at home. Better planning would help.

    I take a medication that comes in a plastic container that is not recyclable curbside. I can't eliminate it, but I can now recycle it at the North Main Depository in Houston, because they now take all forms of plastic.

    I actually biked, not walked, and it is fun to ride, particularly as the weather is not so hot as it was all summer in Houston.
