    Apart from using recycled paper I reuse paper clips, flash cards, and folders/binders. I can further improve by buying more reusable grocery bags that are made from recycled materials such as plastic.

    I have already stepped away from plastic bags, but another item I plan on moving away from is plastic silverware from on campus dining facilities. Instead I will bring a set of utensils with me or bring the food back to my room. I would also like to reduce the amount of coffee cups I use while at home.

    One thing I noticed is there are only a few biking or running paths in this area, if there were more it would give people another way to move around town.

    I learned that I can easily decrease the amount of CO2 emissions I give off and work to help the environment in small ways that don’t even change my lifestyle too much.
