I went shopping for a winter sports jacket last night and learnt that some brands had started to use eco-friendly materials.  I ended up picking a couple Superdry padded jackets that used recycled polyster (rPET) for the polyester fill.  On average, 10 plastic bottles are utilised in each Superdry padded jacket.  It's great to look fashionable and be eco-friendly at the same time.

I came across some good tips on how to save electricity at home and would like to share with everyone.  Note that the savings estimated on the website are in Canadian dollars.  :)

Smaller potion meal reduces the food wasted and also helps me to stay healthy

Nearly 2m kids in the U.K. start school on an empty stomach; this reduces their ability to learn. We are supporting a charity called Magic Breakfast which helps to fill some of the gap.
