Just getting started.  Need to develop the habit.

I was given this book as a gift. It is about gratitude, science and how to achieve reciprocity with the earth.

A weave of ecology, environmental biology and stories that appeal to each sense.

A helpful complement to all the resources provided by Drawdown Ecochallenge. To understand how indigenous practices around the world are critical to learning about, and addressing, climate change and environmental sustainability.

Finally got a chance to wear this sustainable jacket for a morning walk as it's getting cooler in Hong Kong.   I passed by the Alexander Grantham fireboat this morning.  Unfortunately we're in the middle of Wave 4 of COVID so the fireboat (museum) is closed.  Alexander Grantham (fireboat) - Wikipedia

Jacket looks great Michelle! And interesting to learn about the fireboat. Fingers crossed for your move out of Wave 4 as quickly as possible. Wishing you a healthy new year and moments of joy and gratitude.

Fully agree - we need to change people's mindset to drive change in sustainability!

I went shopping for a winter sports jacket last night and learnt that some brands had started to use eco-friendly materials.  I ended up picking a couple Superdry padded jackets that used recycled polyster (rPET) for the polyester fill.  On average, 10 plastic bottles are utilised in each Superdry padded jacket.  It's great to look fashionable and be eco-friendly at the same time.

Thanks for sharing! I'd like to investigate this brand.

Sounds great. Can we see a picture of you in one of your jackets? Maybe when you are on another walk? Love the one you posted last week; helps me to feel like I am ‘visiting’ new places and ‘meeting up’ with colleagues, while keeping our carbon footprint low ;-)

Certainly, Cindy!  I will wear the jacket and post a picture when I'm out next time.  :)

I came across some good tips on how to save electricity at home and would like to share with everyone.  Note that the savings estimated on the website are in Canadian dollars.  :)

I’m trying to do this too Angela. STEPtember was a great way to kick-start this new habit! What I’ve noticed this month is how beautiful the trees are this autumn in London...

Great to go for a walk to get some fresh air!  And Cindy’s pictures are beautiful!  I also have a picture to share from a couple weeks ago.

Nearly 2m kids in the U.K. start school on an empty stomach; this reduces their ability to learn. We are supporting a charity called Magic Breakfast which helps to fill some of the gap. To ensure the bigger Community Social Justice problem gets solved, I have written to my local MP to ask her to sign the upcoming Breakfast Bill :
