    Another advantage that inspires me is shortening the distance my food travels, saving gas and cutting emissions.

    Globally, women typically invest a higher proportion of their earnings in their families and communities than men. Why do you think that is?

    Maybe because people who experience oppression and the vulnerability that comes with it, are more empathetic toward those feelings in others. Socially, in most cultures it seems, the responsibility of maintaining and strengthening relationships is placed almost exclusively on the females.
