Marcia Ward 10/31/2023 8:32 PMWay to go 100 Grannies Team - all month we have scored in the top 10% of 382 teams. Outstanding! -
Marcia Ward 10/25/2023 7:58 PMMy daughter and I assembled a compost bin and fed it with our first bucket of food scraps and yard waste. It felt so good to finally have this system in place. -
Marcia Ward 10/23/2023 8:05 PMI saved the log-in link as a bookmark and then put it with my favorites so I see it each day. That has been a huge help to remind me to check in daily. I also found out that you can enter daily action activities for past days when you forget to enter them that day. -
Marcia Ward 10/21/2023 5:28 PMHi Christina, good question about what is food waste. I saw somewhere that it is food meant to be eaten. So egg shells would not count as food waste. If others think otherwise, please comment. -
Marcia Ward 10/13/2023 6:37 AMI forgot to check-in yesterday but just realized that I could go to that date and enter my actions to get full credit for them. -
Marcia Ward 10/11/2023 7:49 PM100Grannies keeps scoring in the top 10% of teams in the Drawdown EcoChallenge out of 360+ teams internationally. Way to go Grannies! -
Marcia Ward 10/07/2023 4:57 PMIt is easy to submit your progress on actions by going to DASHBOARD on the menu at the top. Then any actions you have selected will appear for you to record your activities. -
Marcia Ward 10/03/2023 11:38 AMPat - thanks for sharing. I have been thinking about a strategy for myself and decided to select 2 daily actions (we can choose up to 5) that I am committed to working on for now and focusing on those. I may select a few more as I have time to study the list of daily action options. I am holding off on one-time actions for right now so as not to get over-loaded. We can select up to 20 one-time actions and I will think about selecting numerous of those later and tick them off over time during the month. -
Marcia Ward 10/02/2023 7:42 AMIf you go to the 100Grannies Team page and scroll down a bit to the TEAM IMPACT section, you can see the actions that team members have already completed. It is really impressive! The link is: https://drawdown.ecochallenge.org/dashboards/teams/100-grannies
