Its been hard to get outside recently because of the coronavirus pandemic but I have recently started to get exercise by scootering around town and finding cool new spots to do tricks. It has been really interesting because there are so many fewer people in our town that cruise down the sidewalk or play in the parks.

Today I went skiing on Mt.Ashland and it felt a lot warmer than usual... do u think this is due to climate change?

    • Erin M 1/31/2020 4:40 PM
You bring up a good point! When it's a daily event, it's weather. Climate is the study of the weather trends over years. And yes, it's getting warmer here - and everywhere.

Here's a good definition of the difference:

weather refers to short-term changes in the atmosphere, climate describes what the weather is like over a long period of time in a specific area.

I have recently been noticing lots of trash on the highways... does anyone have a solution they could think of to help this problem?

  • Lucien Muck 1/23/2020 9:31 PM
Today i got to go skiing on  Mt,ashland.... on the drive up, i noticed lots of trash that i think was random people throwing stuff out of there car... we need to come up with a good solution to fix this.

Today I took a walk and I saw a bottle that has some weird stuff I didn’t know what it was so I threw it in the trash can.

I am very blessed for the beautiful day that is outside today we need to step up our act so we can have even more beautiful days like today.

The other day I had a fun time at the restaurant we all ate at and learned some cool stuff about what people have done.

I think that we should try to get more people to join by provoking them with something you found interesting on the app or something you found challenging for you to do on the app.

What does your vision of a sustainable community look like? What would need to be changed in order for such vision to become reality?

    Lucien Muck 1/04/2020 9:44 AM
I think that a leader of the community that other people look up to could change the minds of the civilians to step up their actions.

    • Erin M 1/04/2020 6:03 PM
Awesome! Just curious, who would you elect to be a community leader? For example, who is someone you look up to? Would it be a person your age, or a teacher you really admire?
