I created my own daily action called "light saver". This encourages people to save electricity and turn off lights, conditioning, and fans when not in use. Sometimes I forget to do this, and thats why I created this action to help remind me to turn off everything before I leave the room/house.

I believe that after you eat a good vegan/vegetarian meal, you feel good about what you ate and stay active throughout the day.

  • Reflection Question
    Food Learn More about Silvopasture
Had you heard of the term "silvopasture" before now? After learning more about it, what do you think is the biggest advantage of silvopasture?

    Aarshiya S. 7/06/2020 6:49 PM
I have never heard of silvopasture until now, and I saw that its biggest advantage is that it provides cool shade for livestock to thrive, increases weather and wind protection, and an improved nutrition uptake.

  • Reflection Question
    Land Use Forest-Friendly Foods 1
How is your diet currently impacting deforestation? What can you do to decrease your negative impact and increase your positive impact?

    Aarshiya S. 6/29/2020 12:59 PM
To increase positive impact, I found a website called Ecosia, where in all the money which they earn from using their browser is used to plant trees and crops in africa and other areas which is needy of trees.
