I've been trying to find little actions that I can incorporate in my daily routine that impact my surroundings positively. For now, I focus on helping out my close friends and neighbours.

This website is a great way to bring people together by encouraging everyone to engage in eco friendly behavior. I like it.

I am reading David Suzuki's The Sacred Balance and I must say I love the way he describes our place in this Earth and our responsibility to maintain it.

Although tracking down our good deeds motivates us and the people around to keep at it, I feel like the purest actions are the ones that only God knows about. I pray he knows my intentions are sincere. It's a fine line between giving versus secretly hoping for something in return.

I do engage in some of these actions daily for my own good and health. For example, since they started charging again for the bus, I have been walking to work and back home monday through friday. It really eased my mind, watching life around me but it also gave me space and perspective. I find it really calming and now I can't spend a whole day indoors. My dog enjoys these strolls too.

In all honesty, i lack discipline in some areas because i concentrate too much of my time and energy in others. My goal is to pursue a well-balanced life.

I  think the issue with our generation is that we ant so much and we want it now, yet it never seems to be enough
