There is this really cool program that is called Ecosia. It is instead of google. Every 75 searches you search, they plant a tree. And this thursday all of the searches searched on it plant trees in Australia! https://www.ecosia.org/

Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our bodies, our planet, and other people?

    Anya Saturen 12/19/2019 7:16 PM
People in other places have less money than other people to get meat, and/or have less access to meat. Too many animal fats or fried food can lead to high blood pressure or clogged arteries which cause heart attacks. Eating meat over a long amount of time can also affect brain function or strokes.  The extra fat accumulation in the brain slows down the thinking process. Eating meat affects the planet by, the land used for raising animals, water and soil that could be used for better purposes are lost. A pig factory puts out the same amount of raw waste as a city of 12,000 people. Making just one hamburger uses enough fossil fuels to drive a small car 20 miles. All of this stuff affects other people on the planet also.
