The technology is now in the beginning stage which is expensive and unable to identify the impact. Hopefully in the future this source of energy could be one of options for green energy.

It's surprising that methane has much more impact that carbon dioxide. Therefore, we should considerate more on methane digestion.

  • Reflection Question
    Food Smaller Portions
While dishing food out, we tend to load our plates with more than we need. Using smaller plates helps to mitigate this. Aside from the environmental benefits, what other benefits might come from eating/serving smaller portions?

Having smaller portion, is something you cannot immediately change. It's something you have to adjust a little bit by bit. Aside from environmental benefits, it's also help for your body to stay healthy and not too overweight.

  • Reflection Question
Transport Test Drive an Electric Bike
Half of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Private vehicles account for 60% of trips of a mile or less. Do you often drive short distances instead of biking or walking? If so, how might incorporating an electric bike into your lifestyle help you make more climate-friendly choices?

In the most of countries with traffic jam, their population often use motorcycle as one of their transportation even with very short distances, including my country. After I tried electric bike, I felt it quite the same as motorcycle. The electric bike I used can ride for 60 km, which is more than enough for short distance use in each charges. Therefore, with short distance travelling I think I would be better if we could use electric bike instead of motorcycle. Hopefully, in the future, the battery could last longer and people are attracted to this electric bike to be more climate friendly.
