Contamination prevents what is recyclable from being recycled. I will research and recycle all materials that are accepted by local haulers or drop stations in my community, making sure to not contaminate recyclables with non-recyclables.

My bike and I are getting a fine work out every day. I'm running errands far and wide around the greater Rochester Area that normally I would do in my car. It feels good! Meanwhile, we buy local organic produce or just organic produce, we compost everything and recycle everything we can. Our garbage tote sits for weeks on end without being used. I've discovered compostable kitty litter! But that goes in a separate pile.

I'm not sure quite how to do the challenge. When looking it over I'm realizing that it isn't that I am taking on new eco friendly habits but really just listing those I already am doing. MMMmmmmm maybe that isn't the way this is supposed to work. Apologies!

Having a car and a bike poses a constant challenge. The car is the devil on one shoulder, the bike the angel on the other. I need to hurry so I best take the car, I plan ahead so I can be part of the solution in combating climate change. It's just a short trip, using the car won't matter, yes it is short and  easily be done on a bike. Just do it!I need to be the change that I want to see in this world!!!!
