Taking action on climate change is important to me because I am driven to keep the Earth healthy and preserve it. I care about taking action because Earth is where I live and also I think is bad that we are ruining other species habitats on Earth.

  • Reflection Question
Food, Agriculture, and Land Use Zero-waste Cooking
In North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for utilizing every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable, including the skins, tops, and stalks during your next meal prep?

    Gorilla Mason's avatar
    Gorilla Mason 1/27/2021 6:17 AM
I felt pretty good about not wasting any of my food scraps from the dinner I had last night since I knew it was helping the environment and that if I didn't then. I think that I can incorporate all of the parts of vegetables in my next meal by maybe making a salad of some sort with all of the parts of (a) vegetable(s)
