    The actions I chose were meaningful to me on a personal level, as well attainable.  A few I had to stretch for and do a little research; growth happens when we push outside our comfort zone, right?!

    I love reading about indigenous people restoring ancient techniques.  The article about the Peruvian villages cleaning out and fixing wells and canals that restored wetlands for their rotational grazing was minding-blowing

    I receive a monthly email from NIPSCO informing me of my and my neighbor’s energy usage. I can reduce my household’s energy consumption my using foam sealant around the foundation to prevents drafts. It’s on my "to do" list

    I notice the trees and people’s gardening.  I would love to see more medians and easement areas planted with native wildflowers. I love the rain gardens that have been installed in Valpo!

    I got weather stripping and have identified several areas where cold air is settling into my house. I’ll be applying it this weekend to close up those leaks and keep the warm air in.

      That's a great strategy and such an important one to weather strip our homes and avoid wasting energy for heat.
